This year, instead of getting sweat and sunburn, we are going to have a different gathering venue.

On Saturday July 22 at 10:30 AM, we have booked a private tour to the Chinatown Heritage Center of Chinese Historical Society of Southern California in Los Angeles Chinatown.

Many of us may or may not know about this facility which houses historical exhibitions of early Chinese Immigrants here in South California.
We will have a docent volunteer from the center showing us around; followed with an armchair discussion of local Chinese American history.
The visit should be less than 2 hours, then we will have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Cost will be just the lunch if you are joining.

They have a small parking lot on the premise. Simply drive into the driveway between the two Victorian cottages at 411-415 Bernard Street, and park in the back. If full, there are street parking as well as Bamboo Plaza Parking structure across the street.

Spaces are limited to under 20, so please make your reservation early.
